Made in the Shade was referred to us by close friends. Our initial project was window coverings for the front of the house, blinds for a bathroom window, and my office doors (little kids have a hard time when they can see you through French door glass on your home office). Matt and Kelli helped us determine the right styles and colors for the project. Matt found a defect on the composite blinds for the bathroom that we most likely would not have noticed and ordered a replacement. Since the initial install they have assisted with our kitchen/dining area and also installed floor to ceiling curtains in our 25" tall living room bringing color and life into the house. In November and December the sun shines at just such an angle that you almost get blinded by the sunlight while you are in the living room. As a matter of fact, we would wear a baseball cap with the visor pulled down while we sat on the couch to block out the sun. We wanted plantation shutters so that we would angle the louvers and still allow sunlight in. Matt did an amazing job with the shutters. We cannot believe how great they look.
